Nissi Beach can serve as an alternative vacation spot of an adjacent Nissi Bay. These two beaches, Nissi Beach and Nissi Bay share one sea bay of the resort town Ayia Napa on Cyprus. Nissi Bay is more focused on young people, while Nissi Beach is quieter and less noisy – it is more comfortable place of resort for families with children.

Nissi Beach offers to visitors a vacation on the shores of a beautiful bay surrounded by lush palms and trees in a relaxing and quiet atmosphere which is perfect for an unhurried rest.

Nissi Beach is covered with white soft sand, which is quite comfortable for walking and resting. Seawater here sparkles and shimmers with turquoise and light blue colors. The sea bottom near the Nissi Beach swimming area is sandy, smooth and quite safe for swimming and children’s games.

For adult visitors it may seem too small but for children and those who have not learned to swim yet it is rather n advantage.

Sea here is pretty quiet most of the time – beach waters are protected from the waves by an island from the Nissi Bay side, and only when the west wind is blowing from the sea there are waves on the water.

At such times vacationers are not recommended to swim close to the eastern edge of the beach with a rocky bottom and rocky coast, in an area bounded by bright buoys so that the waves don’t carry them on the rocks.
